Mokaila Decries Local Exclusion From Tourism.

The Minister of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism, Kitso Mokaila has expressed concern that Batswana are marginalised in the tourism industry. Presenting his ministry's budget proposals to Parliament recently, he said Batswana in prime tourism districts feel excluded by the industry from enjoying the economic benefits the sector provides.

He said tourism was still regarded as benefiting foreigners to the exclusion of Batswana.
