ICHIKAWA, Chiba -- The wife of scandal-hit former architect Hidetsugu Aneha leapt to her death from a housing complex near their home, police said.

At around 5:35 a.m. on Tuesday, the owner of a van parked in the parking lot of a condominium in the Tomihama district of Ichikawa found a woman lying unconscious in the vehicle, bleeding from her head, and alerted paramedics, local police said.
