1. Kia Carnival
Kia gives its unthrilling short-wheelbase global MPV an edgier makeover to help it compete. The Carnival's rear side doors now both slide open, and these and the tailgate come remotely powered. This smaller Euro version of our longer-wheelbase Sedona sits lower but is slightly wider and longer than the previous Euro edition. Seating for seven (in this case 2+3+2) people is becoming a necessity in Europe as well as it is here, only difference being the Europeans use the seven seats all the time.
2. Koenigsegg CCX
From the sound of things around the Geneva show floor, you would think all the little rich-guy car companies were wildly successful in ways not even invented yet. This latest CCX-Competition Coupe X for the company's 10th anniversary-is the one with North American homologation in mind. Little changes on the inside or out. The 4.7-liter twin-supercharged V8 engine can take the CCX into Bugatti territory above 248 mph, and do 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds.
