Additions to the track-car list
Your Feb. 20 "Track Day'' section was well timed for the coming spring. It made me look at the kit cars you highlighted as options. But in the track-car segment, you didn't mention my daily driver, a Subaru STI (same brakes as the 350Z's, only faster to 60 mph, and easier to go fast in corners). And how about a Honda S2000 in this group? Both cars are affordable.

You could have included the Beck Spyder as a cost-effective alternative to the Caterham Seven or Ariel. If an Ariel were affordable for this working stiff, I'd be tricking one out. But for a third to half the cost, my Spyder provides plenty of grins (not to mention the lessons in handling) while I hang the rear end out on mountain roads.

Is Sky the limit?
The Pontiac Solstice is enough of a hit that dealers want $5,000 over sticker. Now Saturn's Sky comes out. Will Saturn stick to its no-haggle pricing strategy, or charge $5,000 for dealer-added paint protection and undercoating?
