Strong quake jolts Kyushu.

A relatively strong earthquake jolted Oita Prefecture and surrounding areas in Kyushu on Monday morning, the Meteorological Agency said.

There was no immediate report of casualties, police said. The agency did not issue a tsunami warning following the temblor.
