Microsoft Corp. said it will aggressively pursue all aspects of its patent infringement lawsuit against Stac Electronics Inc. after a U.S. District judge last week declined to issue a preliminary injunction to prevent Stac from selling its Stacker 3.1 utility.

At U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Judge Edward J. Rafeedie turned down the preliminary injunction filed by Microsoft August 5 to keep Stacker 3.1 for Windows and DOS from being sold until a December trial date on the two companies' patent infringement claims and counterclaims.
