Bruce Smith's blood, sweat and tears make Robert Waterfield toil.

It also makes him see green -- as in the color of money.

Waterfield is vice president and general manager of Vara's Dry Cleaners in Hamburg, which calls itself the "official dry cleaner" of the Buffalo Bills.

Vara's association with the Bills began in 1984 when former equipment manager Chuck Zobor was searching for a place that could quickly dry clean and tailor 30 pairs of pants for the coaches. Zobor had been to several other dry cleaners, none of which could promise the pants on his short schedule.

To Waterfield, however, it was an easy request.
