Mar. 26--More than 100 Charlotte-Mecklenburg teachers are among about 1,500 educators across the country to receive their National Board Certification. Teachers were informed of that status in late 2005.
National Board Certification is considered the highest credential among teachers. It is awarded to educators who complete a rigorous series of assessments, requiring teachers to show how their methods improve student achievement.
