The Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA) has attracted a total cumulative Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of P140 million since it came into being, Parliament has been told.
Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, Trade and Industry Minister Neo Moroka said that legislators should understand that there is hastened competition for FDI throughout the world. Moroka was answering a question from Kgatleng East MP Isaac Mabiletsa, who wanted to know how much FDI BEDIA had attracted to Botswana since its inception.
