THE women's doubles pair of Julia Wong-Ooi Sock Ai made an exit as the rest of the Malaysian juggernaut rolled into the quarter-finals of badminton's individual round at the Melbourne Convention Centre yesterday.

However, the mixed doubles pair of Wong Choong Hann-Ooi Sock Ai and Julia (women's singles) lost on Wednesday.

In men's singles, Lee Chong Wei and Choong Hann stayed on track for an all-Malaysian final with wins over Canadian duo of Philippe Bourret and Andrew Dabeka respectively. Chong Wei thumped Bourret 21-6, 21-4 while Choong Hann overcame Dabeka 21-14, 21-16.
