There are a lot of musical competition TV shows at the moment--how is Just The Two Of Us different?
Duets: the power of two people working together as a team and having to perform. They have to create a relationship on stage, they have to get the harmonies right on stage and they have to tell a story. Also, the celebrity being paired with a legendary singer and the increased pressure that brings. They are stepping out of the comfort zone--it is a unique sense of pressure. It's also a once-in-a-lifetime experience--Nicky Campbell can't believe he is spending three weeks singing with Beverley Knight.
Were the celebrities chosen for their singing capabilities?

The pressure of fame hit him and he didn't want to do it any more. He realised it was going to be a high-profile show, he was getting lots of requests for interviews and he couldn't handle it.
