THE death penalty. Do we keep it or abolish it? It's a tough and sensitive issue. Most Malaysians want it maintained, judging from the many SMS views we have received. Yet, others, notably members of the Bar Council, agreed to a resolution at its general meeting to abolish the death penalty. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz has endorsed the move.
