HOMESTEAD, Fla. _ Scott Dixon takes a couple of bites out of an ice cream bar, makes a face and deposits the rest in a trash receptacle.

An apology is made for ruining his dessert, but Dixon shrugs and smiles, saying, "Oh no, it really just didn't taste good."

It's early March at the Indy Racing League Spring Training sessions at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and judging from the speed charts, Dixon has taken a liking to the league's new flavor _ Honda power.
