Mar. 20--On most weekdays by 12:30 p.m., Sohelia Paparo is among the first five parents to arrive in the southern traffic circle outside Carolina Forest Elementary School.
To pass the time Paparo and the other parents who show up early to pick up their children in what's known as the "mommy line" read, pay bills, talk on the cell phones, sleep, socialize and sit in the sun.
Such lines are common at densely populated schools, such as those in the Carolina Forest area, and school officials are always fine-tuning ways to get children on and off campus in a safe, orderly fashion.
