Mar. 18--CONEJOS - The county seat has water problems but action is being taken to rectify them, county administrator Tressesa Martinez said Friday. For three hours on March 10 the courthouse was closed due to lack of water and bad weather, Martinez explained. Although the county had a water well drilled about two years ago, the well is not operational. For years now the county buildings have used water from the Conejos Community Water Association's well, the association's vice president Andrew Rivera said. Rivera said the 57-foot-deep community well serves 23 households, charging $7.50 a month for water. He believes that since the…
