Mar. 14--VALLEY CENTER ---- A charter school on the Rincon Indian Reservation must make some big improvements and replace its administrator if it is to stay open, Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District officials say.
The district submitted a document earlier this month to the school board and the All Tribes American Indian Charter School that outlines findings and recommendations for the campus, including concerns about the school's financial situation, accreditation and leadership.
The small, 75-student school, which mainly serves students living on the Pala, Pauma, Rincon, La Jolla and San Pasqual Indian reservations, must renew its charter this year. Charter schools are public schools…
