Castries, St Lucia: As campaigning for the Castries Central by-elections draws to a climax over the weekend, two candidates are reporting attacks on their supporters within the past 24 hours.

Candidate of the ruling St Lucia Labour Party (SLP) Phillip La Corbiniere Friday [10 March] reported that he was forced to draw his firearm and, with a group of his supporters, retreat from a section of the city after they felt threatened by a group of men who accosted them.
