Mar. 11--GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Virginia was up against it in more ways than one Friday night in a quarterfinal game vs. North Carolina at the ACC tournament. The Cavaliers took the floor on what was ostensibly a neutral court, only to find the Greensboro Coliseum a sea of North Carolina blue. In the Tar Heels, they faced a team that had been playing as well as any in the country, having won seven straight and 10 of its last 11, including a 45-point demolition of the Cavaliers on March 1. Virginia had been playing as well as any team, in, uh, Virginia, having beaten state rival Virginia Tech on Thursday night to snap a three-game skid. ...
