Mar. 10--FAYETTEVILLE -- A Washington, D.C., lawyer who proofed political ads for the National Republican Senatorial Committee agreed in court Thursday that the word "condoms" does not appear in legislation Charlotte Pritt sponsored. Almost nine years ago, Pritt filed a libel suit in Fayette County Circuit Court over the ads. One of the Republican ads claimed Pritt supported a bill to teach first-graders how to use condoms. At the time the ads were produced, Craig Engle was the chief counsel for the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
