Mar. 9--A woman was killed with a bat Tuesday in Murrells Inlet, then stuffed into the trunk of a car, which police say her boyfriend was driving when he was stopped hours later in North Carolina. Vladimir Walt Pantovich, 54, of Myrtle Beach, was charged as a fugitive based on a murder warrant issued by the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, said Chris Bowman, chief deputy of the Alexander County [N.C.] Sheriff's Office. Authorities called the incident domestic-violence related.

It is the first domestic-violence related death in Georgetown County this year, but the third in Horry and Georgetown…
