Mar. 6--Thailand's spa-treatment export industry, particularly to Japan, has great potential given the growing taste worldwide for Asian products, says a Japanese expert.
Wakaba Koyama, executive chairman of Ayus Oriental Spa Group, said more Japanese consumers were using Asian spa-treatment products, from Thailand in particular.
"The popularity of Thai spa treatments is rising and surpassing that of Bali treatments," she told participants at a forum organised by the Export Promotion Department.
