Mar. 6--The Commerce Ministry believes current political tensions will not affect exports this year, with the value projected to expand by 17.5 percent from last year to US$130 billion.
Even so, Somkid Jatusripitak, the caretaker deputy prime minister and commerce minister, will meet with ministry officials on Monday to assess the situation after major political rallies this weekend.
