Craving Dodge's Mini fighter
DCX needs to think seriously about small cars. I saw the new Dodge Caliber at the Chicago show. It's nice, but too big to replace my VW R32. Then I saw the Dodge Hornet in your Feb. 20 issue. Wow! DCX could use a good Mini fighter in America.

I hope Dodge polls potential North American buyers for the Hornet concept. You state it's for the Geneva show and the European market, but bring it here. There is plenty of room for a good-looking small car.

Daytona Beyond Thunderdome
At Daytona, Al Pearce reported in the Feb. 20 issue, "It's out of control.'' That was said by Tony Stewart, but it could have been said about Stewart. Aggressive driving should have been penalized severely when Stewart tangled with Jeff Gordon. The lack of enforcement led Stewart to believe he could knock Matt Kenseth out of the lead. And he did. Once again NASCAR refused to put Tony behind the wall.
