Late last winter, I purchased a 2005 519 Ranger with a 200 OptiMax. During the break-in period in March, along with a couple of club tournaments in April and May, I was very pleased with this rig. However, once boat traffic picked up in the summer, I noticed the ride became very rough. I have spoken with different people in regard to this, including Ranger Boats and the dealer. They seem to think that if I purchase a 6-inch setback jackplate, it will help the ride. If the roughness cannot be overcome, would you recommend that I consider upgrading to a Ranger ...
