It seems like every female in Hollywood is rumored to be expecting. To decipher if a bump alert is bona fide or bull, look for these signs.

* She's suddenly sipping virgin drinks. "Most women give up drinking alcohol, so if a cocktail lover has started abstaining--and also cutting back on caffeine--something may be up," says Lisa Masterson, MD.

* The chain-smoking star has been spotted cig-free.

That's one of the major things that gave Britney's secret away.

* Her skin looks different. "The hormonal changes caused by pregnancy can clear up bad skin or make a woman with good skin start to break out," explains Mitchell Creinin, MD.

* She's touching her stomach in pictures. "Many pregnant women do this," explains body-language expert Jan Hargrave. Another sign is if her guy appears protective in public by standing in front of her or places both of his arms around her, adds Hargrave.
