Regarding "Bucking Liberty" (Editorial, Tuesday):

Let us not forget that during the Carter years, the same William F. Buckley debated none other than Ronald Reagan about the merits of surrendering the Panama Canal. He was wrong then, and he's wrong now.

These are indeed "extraordinary developments" if Iraq WMD were transported as reported by the Russian Spetsnaz into Syria under the disguise of material to help Syrian flood victims.
