Astec Industries cites problems
The maker of construction, mining and heavy equipment fell 6% to 35.92 after it said its Q4 rose 67% to 5 cents a share, missing views by 8 cents. Sales rose 21% to $134.5 mil. In addition, Astec said auditors identified "significant deficiencies" in its internal controls relating to inventory, accounting system access and monitoring controls.
ENERGY
Evergreen loses, but tops views
The maker of solar power products reported another Q4 loss of 8 cents a share, a penny over views. Revenue rose 20% to $11.6 mil. Full-year revenue rose 87% to $44 mil, shrinking Evergreen's annual loss 43% to 23 cents a share. The company expects '06 full-year sales in line with views of $99.5 mil. Shares rose 4% to 15.59.
