Mar. 1--Marshmallows, tooth picks, Hershey kisses and some old wigs were the props that helped make up the 100th Day of School observance recently at Greenway Park Elementary School. The 100th day of the school year, which happened Feb. 6 in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, has become a major annual educational event in schools across the nation. Educators use it for mathematics and other lessons.
