Mar. 1--Prachai Leophairatana is resisting a threat by the Stock Exchange of Thailand to delist TPI Polene Plc (TPIPL) if he does not step down from the company's board.
"[The SET] can do anything it wants, whether it's posting a warning sign or delisting any firm. I'm only waiting to see when acting prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will get out," he said yesterday.
The SET said yesterday that TPI Polene, Thai Petrochemical Industry and Bangkok Union Insurance faced delisting unless Mr Prachai resigned from each board.
