Mar. 1--Krungthai Card will arrange a 15-billion-yen, three-year loan to refinance five billion baht worth of domestic loans due in April.
The company, a unit of Krung Thai Bank, forecast funding costs this year to rise with local interest rates, but expected to maintain a return-on-asset ratio of 2 percent, compared with 2.49 percent for 2005.
Thawatchai Thitisakdiskul, a KTC senior vice-president, said it would also raise funds from the domestic market later this year to finance business expansion.
