German firm taps demand for concrete recycling.

Mar. 1--A German company that specialises in recycling concrete sees good opportunities in Thailand, where brisk construction activity leads to large quantities of waste that can be handled more effectively.

Bibko Umwelttechnik & Beratung GmbH is using Thailand as its regional office and a showcase for its technology as it seeks to expand into Asia.

Thomas Friebe, area manager for Asia, said Bibko was looking to tap demand for residual concrete recycling systems from leading concrete companies such as Holcim Ltd and Heidelberg Cement Group, which have large operations in Asia.
