TT&T banking on broadband.
Mar. 1--The provincial fixed-line telephone provider TT&T Plc expects to realise an additional one billion baht from broadband Internet and fixed-line expansion as new revenue streams this year.
Revenue from broadband is projected at 700 million baht, while the new fixed-line phone service is expected to generate 300 million baht.
TT&T plans to invest six billion baht this year, with four billion baht for a voice-over-IP fixed-line network in Bangkok and two billion for broadband.
Prasitchai Kritsanayunyong, vice-president for corporate finance, said TT&T expected to begin the services in Bangkok and realise revenue from them this year.
