Mar. 1--Starbucks will encourage customers to brew their own coffee at home by presenting its premium-grade coffee beans in new 'Geography is a Flavour' packaging.

The strategy would help expand sales through alternative channels, according to Andrew Nathan, managing director of Starbucks Coffee (Thailand) Co.

The new packaging was designed by US-based Starbucks Corporation to make products easier to be reached and understood by its customers. For example, each coffee region would be represented by a different colour on the packet, representing Latin America, Africa, or Asia Pacific.
