Mar. 1--Kasikorn Asset Management will take a more aggressive approach to the market as investor appetite for conventional investment products nears maturity, under new president Wiwan Tharahirunchote.
Prasarn Trairatvorakul, the Kasikornbank president, said K-Asset, the market leader in terms of asset size, would become more active in launching "unconven dhtional" products, such as structured equity notes or property funds.
"I think that growth for more straightforward equity or fixed-income funds is set to taper off. We will have to be more creative," he said.
