LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF the interesting situations that occurred during the 2005 season.

April 6: In the Yankees-Red Sox game, the Sox were batting in the top of the seventh with one out, Johnny Damon on first and a 3-1 count on Trot Nixon. Damon was off with the pitch that was called "ball four." Yankees' catcher Jorge Posada wisely threw down on the play. Damon was safe but he came off the bag and was tagged by Derek Jeter for the out per rule 6.08.
