Forget about the long face head coach Larry Brown wore throughout the press conference that formally announced Steve Francis' arrival in New York last week. Forget that he wore black, too, or that he didn't seem to relish the prospect of adding yet another overpaid, overrated talent to an already ego-filled roster long on potential but woefully short on performance. Forget all these and whatever else that he shows by way of disappointment over the turn of events, because, really, he brought it upon himself.
