Feb. 23--Huntersville police arrested a former middle school teacher Tuesday on several sexual assault charges after they say he molested a 12-year-old male student over the course of a year. Jimmie Vance Grubbs, 66, a former language arts teacher at Bradley Middle School, was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual offense against a victim younger than 13, five counts of indecent liberties with a student, five counts of indecent liberties with a child, and two counts of statutory rape, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg sheriff's records. All charges were in connection with the same student. Grubbs could not be reached for comment…
