A meeting of the Botswana National Front (BNF) leadership forum slated for March 4-5 is expected to reinvigorate 'weak' party structures in Francistown.

The decision was taken because of concerns about the strength of the party in the north, especially Francistown. Some BNF members feel that it is the weakness of the party structures in the region that is behind the poor performance in elections.

"Ask me about chairpersons or secretaries in the three constituencies of Francistown East, South and West and I can't even tell you," declared a staunch BNF member in Block One, …
