Feb. 22--The public will get another chance to weigh in on proposed boundary lines for the new Mallard Creek high school at a community meeting set for Thursday.

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Highland Renaissance Academy, 125 W. Craighead Road.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools staff will be on hand to discuss seven boundary proposals for the school, which opens on Johnston Oehler road in fall 2007.

All of the plans would shift hundreds of students from North Mecklenburg and Vance high schools to the new school. But two of the newest proposals also call on sending students in the attendance area for…
