E-book provider Ebrary has extended its pricing models and added 8,000 new titles to its service, writes Tracey Caldwell.

It now offers 10 multi-user subscription databases, priced according to the number of full-time equivalent end-users using them, and has made it possible to subscribe to e-books by subject.

Ebrary's additional 8,000 titles will be added to its perpetual access list. E-books on this scheme may be accessed by one or more users, depending on the model chosen, with no limit of time.

Ebrary is also targeting smaller education institutions with its Academic Standard product, a cut-down ...
