Standing at Attention
"My boyfriend, Greg, is away in the army. To keep things hot, we send a lot of digital pictures back and forth over the Internet. One afternoon, my mom decided to have our entire extended family over for dinner. I was late coming home from work, and by the time I got to my house, the guests were already there. The second I walked inside, everyone started snickering. But before I could ask what was up, I noticed that my laptop was on the kitchen table. A picture of Greg lying on his bunk with a boner was up for everyone to see. Apparently, my cousins had turned on the computer to check their e-mail and had opened my new messages instead."--Erin, 24

It's Snot My Fault
"I was having a meeting with my new boss in her office, and I had a terrible cold. I leaned over her, trying to point something out on the spreadsheet we were working on, when a huge booger came flying out of my nose and landed on the paper. We were both silent for a few seconds. Finally, she reached across the desk to hand me a tissue, and I hauled my butt back to my desk. A few hours later, I was walking past her office when I heard her whispering about how she wanted to replace me."--Serena, 29
Getting Mailed
"My mother-in-law and I happen to have the exact same name and live in the same town, so we often get each other's mail. One afternoon, she called to say she had a package for me. When I got to her house, I found her sitting at the kitchen table with two mugs of tea. She told me to sit down then pulled out the box and handed it to me. When I realized that it was the sex toys I'd recently ordered, I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. I started babbling about how they were for a friend, but she cut me off and told me not to worry, she'd already called a sex therapist who was willing to help me 'work out my little problem."--Jane, 33
