Bishkek, 16 February: There is no talk as yet about Uzbekistan's accession to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), CSTO Secretary-General Nikolay Bordyuzha said after talks with Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev today.

Bordyuzha arrived in Bishkek yesterday [15 February] from Tashkent where he had held talks with the Uzbek leadership.

"We have received no statement or decision from Uzbekistan on joining the CSTO," he said.

At the same time, Bordyuzha emphasized that "there is a serious agreement" with Uzbekistan "on joint …
