A U.K. judge ruled that a 21-year-old was not guilty of dangerous driving after police clocked him at 149.9 mph in a Porsche Boxster. "He went fast for a short time only on a straight road with excellent visibility,'' the judge said. But some were disgusted by the decision. "If driving at 150 mph isn't dangerous driving, we don't know what is,'' said a representative of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

A Florida man didn't like the deal he got on a new Ford Escape, so he drove it through the dealership's showroom window, doused it in gasoline and lit it up. The Miami Herald reports Gerald Georgettis, 56, was arrested and charged with first-degree arson after causing nearly $1 million in damage. He will likely need to ponder another kind of escape soon.
