International Microcomputer Software Inc., which recently acquired the FormTool Gold forms product line from Bloc Publishing Corp., plans to release a Windows version and a version integrated with IMSI's TurboCAD product.

"This is a really hot area with Microsoft and WordPerfect entering the market," said IMSI president Martin Sacks.

FormTool Gold is now a DOS product with outdated features, Sacks said.

IMSI expects to have the spruced-up Windows version out the door by year end priced at $100, IMSI officials said.

The product will form the low end of the forms designer market, with no routing or networking capabilities.
