Nokia Continues to Show Its Strength in China.

BEIJING, February 13, SinoCast -- Finland-based mobile phone giant Nokia announced on February 8 that it made great achievements in China in 2005 with total sales of EUR 3.4 billion.

For 2005 alone, Nokia sold as much as 32.5 million sets of mobile phones in China, an increase of 72 percent from the comparable period one year ago.

The company's mobile phone export volume in China hit EUR 2.87 billion, up 15 percent from the same period in 2004.

The sales growth last year has turned China into Nokia's largest market around the world, said David Ho, president of Nokia (China) Investment Co Ltd.
