The lineup of big names from NASCAR, the Indy Racing League and Champ Car lured into taking part in the Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona just kept growing and growing before this year's event. The entry list was the most stellar yet in the three-season history of Daytona Prototypes, so it was fitting Grand-Am achieved its desired aim when a team of drivers from outside the realm of sports car racing triumphed in the long-distance classic.
