Mercedes-Benz was first out of the gate with a four-door package with coupe styling in its CLS, but it won't own the market for long. As we reported last fall (Flash, Nov. 7, 2005), Volkswagen has publicly confirmed plans to build this upscale Passat with sleek "coupe'' styling, due in 2008 as an '09 model.
