THE final championship round of the R3 Street Shoot-Out (SSO) Challenge Championship being held at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil carpark also previews the D1 Grand Prix (D1GP) series, regarded by many around the world as the Formula 1 of drifting.
The first competition of its kind in Southeast Asia, the D1 Professional Drift Series Grand Prix Malaysia is an evolution of the DriftAttack Challenge Championship series held as part of the SSO.
Similar series held in Japan and the US has already developed a large fan base.
