The National Hard w a re Show (NHS), owned by Reed Exhibitions, is relaunching its own version of the defunct Canadian Hard w a re Show. Slated to be held in Toronto from Oct. 16 to 18, the show is actually a spin-off of the National Hardware Show that will be geared toward the Canadian home channel market and is also being called the National Hardware Show.

According to Rob Cappiello, industry vp of the National Hard w a re Show, the need for an industry event still exists in Canada despite the shortcomings of its predecessor, which closed its doors for good in February 2005 following years of declining attendance.
