Section: General News - Deputy Prime Minister Suwat Liptapanlop plans to request a budget of 20 billion baht for the development of tourism in the upper southern provinces. Mr. Suwat plans to submit the plan on tourism promotion along the coasts in Petchburi, Prachuabkirikan, and Chumporn during a cabinet meeting in Chiang Mai tomorrow. The plan is aimed at boosting the three provinces as top tourist destinations like Pattaya and Phuket. The initial estimation for the project stands at 20 billion baht.
